TroubleshootingWhile the Myka is extraordinarily easy to use, questions may still arise. Here are the solutions to a few common issues. You may find a quick and easy solution. If you still can't find what you're looking for, please feel free to contact us at

or post your issue in the forums. - If your video screen is blank after powering up the system, you need to change the video settings on Myka from the default settings of 720p, 60hz, HDMI by using the TV Mode button and numeric keypad on the Remote Control. See the table below for the correct value. For example, to change to NTSC 480i, 60Hz, press the TV Mode button on the Remote, then press the “1” key.

- If you receive an error message while accessing a menu, you may need to clear your cache. Navigate to the "Tools" menu and select Maintenance. On your remote, press the button labeled "File Mode" - just below the red power button, and the words "Clear cache" should appear in the top right corner. Press ENTER, and you should be able to access the menu.
- If the UI does not load upon reaching the Home screen, you may need to select HARD DISK from the menu.
- If your media ever freezes or has some sort of issue, or you simply want to return to the UI, press STOP on your remote.
- If any of your network services do not function, check to see if your network connection is active. If it is, then the service itself is down and you may have to wait a few moments before trying again.
- After initiating a torrent in My Myka, there may be a delay of a few minutes before the torrent appears on your Myka box. Clicking Download again is unnecessary.
- In the Maintenance screen, there is an option that says "check for firmware update". Please do not use this feature.
- When downloading from a URL of your own specification, make sure the URL points directly to the torrent file in question.
- Exercise caution when using the on-unit file management interface. It utilizes the basic system move and copy functions, which does allow for some operations which could potentially compromise your drive's integrity (i.e. copying your entire drive into a sub-directory).
